Our original artisanal gelato shop opened in La Jolla in 2014, a place we love even more after five years of business there and where we discovered a great sensibility and attitude towards a real gelato-making technique, traditional but yet innovative.
The menu at this location rotates constantly to reflect what’s available and in season and it is made of eighteen flavors with six vegan options offered seven days a week.
At Bobboi we believe that gelato is only as good as its ingredients. that is why we sources from local California purveyors and make our gelatos and sorbets using ninety percent all-organic ingredients, including locally grown pistachios, which is why some of the flavors will only be available seasonally.
Known for both its traditional and untraditional gelato flavors, Bobboi gelato is inspired by California yet rooted in the timeless gelato techniques of Italy.
For us, taste comes first, taking it slow is a must and innovation is essential, because it’s the only way to create gelato that makes customers happy.
